CEO of BTEA Inaugurates Park Regis Lotus Hotel

The Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA), H.E. Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa, inaugurated the Park Regis Lotus Hotel on the 18th of July 2018. The opening ceremony was held in the presence of the Governor of the Capital Governorate, H.E. Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, a number of key officials and ambassadors.
 “We are pleased to open the latest 4-star hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The grand opening of Park Regis Louts Hotel comes in line with the BTEA’s strategy which focuses on four pillars ‘awareness, attraction, access, and accommodation’ in order to attract regional and international visitors, further increasing the tourism sector’s contribution to the national economy,” said the CEO of BTEA, H.E. Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa.
“I would also like to extend my thanks to VKL Holdings for all their remarkable efforts that contribute to the development of the Kingdom’s tourism infrastructure. We aim to draw in visitors through opening more luxury hotels in Bahrain, this will further boost the Kingdom’s tourism sector and strengthen its position as an ideal tourism destination,” he added.
Park Regis Lotus Hotel is located in Juffair, and is within a short 15-minute drive from Bahrain International Airport. The hotel offers 164 luxuriously appointed guest rooms including Deluxe, Lotus Suite and Royal Suite which offer free Wi-Fi service. The hotel also features three onsite restaurants, 24-hour gymnasium and a swimming pool.
This comes in line with the BTEA’s long-term strategy to further develop the Kingdom’s tourism sector and strengthen its position on a regional and international level under the slogan of ‘Ours.Yours.’, which contributes towards the Kingdom’s economy and the 2030 Economic Vision.
